Flower & Garden Festival

Doug and I didn't make it to rope drop at Epcot this morning, but we still got there early enough to ride Soarin', Living with the Land, and The Gran Fiesta Tour before the crowds arrived.  After riding our favorites, the rest of the day was spent enjoying Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival.  There were so many topiaries to see, foods to try and even a few drinks to share.  Doug's felt that the Crawfish Pie from American was the "best of the fest", while I voted the chocolate cake from Canada as #1.  Neither one of us drank very much, but we did get a few of our favorites  - a Welsh Dragon for me and a Maelstrom Margarita for Doug.

After riding the rides that we wanted to, walking the countries twice and buying a Groovy Gardens Orange Bird shirt, Doug and I decided to call it a day.  We were both exhausted, but had thoroughly enjoyed our time at Walt Disney World during the last two days.  Over the past two years, Doug and I have spent more time apart than at any other time in our married life.  Thus, it was incredibly nice to hang out together without much on our agenda except having fun.
