Moving Home

Cameron spent the night at Union Street last night and really enjoyed himself.  While we walked to his advisory appointment, I enjoyed listening to all that he did.  He first went on a tour of the rec center which included a free t-shirt.  He then hung out with a few guys that he met and went on a late night tour of campus.  The "O" staff had free Pizza X breadsticks for them when they returned.  Cameron then spent the rest of the evening playing corn hole and getting to know the other students.

Today, Cameron's main priority was registering for classes.  Three had already been scheduled for him.  He was very happy with the other three that he chose, especially the one from Hutton Honors college.  We made it back to Meg's before lunchtime.  Doug and Meg already had Meg's apartment moved to the        U-Haul.  It was a lot more than I thought that it would be, but the truck was more than big enough to fit it all.  I took her television and a few other breakable items so Meg didn't have to worry about them.

Doug headed home soon after everything was packed.  Meg, Cameron and I enjoyed a relaxing lunch at McAlister's.  Cameron told us all about his previous two days and Meg went over her plans for cleaning her apartment.  Cameron and I left shortly after we dropped Meg off at Fountain Park.  We spent the trip talking about IU and listening to Kid Cudi.

Doug and my parents had already unloaded the U-Haul by the time that we arrived.  Kyle's children had enjoyed helping them.  We sorted through all of Meg's possessions, deciding what went to Grandma's and Nancy's, and what stayed at our house.  It took awhile, but we got through a lot of it tonight.  I was definitely exhausted when Meg arrived as was she.  She was glad to be done with her apartment and happy to be home for the summer.
