Open House

Friday night started the open house season and it continued on through today.  Cameron had attended the most, but Meg, Doug and I visited a few as well.  Austin's was last night and we enjoyed all of the pictures and food.  Doug and I also got to spend some time with Avery's parents.  We appreciated the conversation.  It helped us to process all that had happened since last Saturday.  Meg and Nick missed Austin's, but made it to Josh's.  They were the last ones to leave and had fun with some of their high school friends.  Cameron was at both parties tonight and several others during the day. 

Today all of us made a point to attend Jacob's open house.  As a family we had known Jacob the longest and were glad to celebrate with he and his family.  There were so many fun pictures to look at and we enjoyed his writing samples over the years.  After the party we spent the evening relaxing.  Doug had finished painting the basement room yesterday and today we completely cleaned out and organized the garage.  I was impressed that we finished it in one day as it was one of the big projects on our to-do list.  Needless to say, I was extremely happy with its completion.
