Bethany started high school golf practice on Monday March 14th. The timing was perfect as they would have fifteen days of practice before spring break. That would prepare them for their first match on the Monday after break. It seemed to be a fantastic plan, but the weather decided not to cooperate with multiple days in the forties.
In looking back over the past three weeks ago, there have actually only been two nice days to practice. The first was a week ago Monday when the temperatures stayed in the upper sixties. The second was today when it was finally warm enough to play a few holes. The team has made the best of the lack of opportunities to play, but it has been frustrating. Cameron felt that he just wasn't playing as well as he had in Ocala. He was happy today that he finally got a chance to work on his driver. He also said that he putted well - one putting multiple holes at Black Squirrel. This all left him hopeful that he would get some time to practice his irons tomorrow. Unfortunately, the weather forecast was calling for a high of 40 degrees with rain/snow - not too nice for the last day of March or for playing golf.
