A Wonderful Night at Home

I was incredibly happy to spend an evening at home with Doug.  Even though I had been in Florida with him last weekend, it felt like he had been gone for longer than that.  We first watched Cameron's Christmas program at Bethany.  We had talked about going to see their first all school Christmas event aptly titled "Unwrap the Nativity" in person, but Cameron thought it was best if we watched it online instead.  We enjoyed it very much and appreciated being able to avoid the large crowds.

Once the program was over,  Doug and I played several games of Ticket to Ride where I actually won a few games.  We then worked on our castle puzzle.  It has definitely been challenging, but we made pretty good progress tonight.  Doug picked Toy Story to watch while we were working on it.  It had been awhile since I had seen it and I enjoyed it very much.  Meg suggested Toy Story 2 next as that's her favorite.  Unfortunately, we couldn't make it up that long.  We were awake when Cameron arrived home at 10:30.  He had gone to Culver's after the performance and had fun with a large group of his friends.  We were glad to hear that he had enjoyed his evening as well.
