This week’s winter storm in Indiana arrived just as predicted yesterday with snow, wind and cold temperatures. It wasn’t the storm that we had over Christmas Eve weekend, but it was enough to cancel in person class for both Meg and Cameron. They each had assignments to do on their own, however, which took up a good part of the day. Meg didn’t mind at all as she had been feeling sick the past few days and was glad for the rest. Cameron didn’t love it, but realized that it was a necessity.
After school work was over, Cameron spent the rest of the afternoon playing buck Euchre with Grandma and Grandpa. Cameron decided that he was ready for Grandma to “pay up” what she “owed” him. She told him to wait until graduation. Their evening was spent watching the IU vs Minnesota game. It wasn’t the blowout that Cameron predicted. In fact the Golden Gophers led most of the game. Thankfully, IU stepped up their play to go ahead with a few minutes left in the game, holding on narrowly for the win. Cameron didn’t care. He was just happy with the victory.
Unlike Brett, Meg’s Bible study was cancelled. Since the roads had been cleared earlier in Bloomington then in Northern Indiana, she invited her group to go sledding instead. Four of them met at the football stadium and enjoyed an evening in the snow. She definitely had a lot of fun and the best part was, no one got injured.
