As exciting as it has been to be a IU men's basketball fan recently with their four game winning streak, it has been even more fun to follow the women's team. They are currently ranked number sixth in the nation and are leading the Big Ten women's conference. Last night they played Ohio State who was ranked number two. IU students were given free tickets to attend, and Meg invited her Bible study group to go with her. She texted us from the game to let me know how much fun she was having. The stadium was packed with over 10,000 fans (a record for a women's game at Assembly Hall). The score was close throughout with Indiana holding on for the win. What a great night for Hoosier fans, even Cameron and Grandpa caught the last quarter. It should be a fun rest of the season with hopefully both basketball teams playing well from now through the tournament.
