One thing that kept us occupied during our weekend of projects was the NFL playoffs. It was nice to have a game to check up on or a score to relay to one another. Most of the games were close and kept our interest. The only real blowout was the 49ers win over the Seahawks, but even that was only a twenty point victory. No matter the team or the game, it was fun to keep track of it all.
Cameron and Cal joined us in following the games. Cal spent Saturday in Crown Point with Cameron Adams enjoying each catch, touch down and fumble. Cameron was at Samuel's today watching them with his group of his friends, but made it home before the end of the Bengals game. He was just as excited that we were that Cincinnati won and even more so that the Jaguars had come back from a 27 point deficit to win as well.
With so many projects complete, Doug and I decided to go out to dinner this evening. Goshen Brewing Company was closed for a staff holiday party, so we decided to try Hacienda. It was a great second choice as it was still easy to count Weight Watchers points. I hadn't been out of the house since Friday, so I really appreciated it. Our projects will continue for awhile, but they have lessened. The nice part is that we have another weekend of football and Cameron's birthday to keep us entertained next weekend as well.
