Take The Long Way Home

Today was everyone's least favorite day of Spring Break - the long drive home.  Thankfully, we had prepared for it with plenty of pillows, blankets, chargers, and food including a loaf of peanut butter sandwiches.  Without having to stop for fast food, we made our trip home an hour quicker than we did a month ago.  We all appreciated that.  We did make sure to take several bathroom breaks along the way including one at our new favorite convenience store, Buc-ee's.

Sixteen hours was long, but there were two highlights on this trip.  The first was that we got to listen to a full day of the Masters.  Tiger didn't play quite as well as he did yesterday, but he did make the cut.  We were extremely impressed as it was just a little over a year ago that he was in a serious car wreck that severely damaged his leg.  The second highlight of the trip was watching the Pilot pass the 100,000 mile mark.  Definitely hoping that it catches the van one day at 200,000 miles.
