Disney Springs & More

We started our third day of Cameron's spring break with a trip to Orlando.  Our first stop was Blizzard Beach's miniature golf where we played the summer course.  It had been several years since we had played there and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.  Not only was the mini golf fun, but the decorations were awesome as they revolved around Santa's summer vacation.  In the end Grandpa and I tied for first with scores of 40.  Cameron was close behind with a 41.  None of us really cared about the score, we were just glad to play together.

Next on our agenda was Disney Springs.  Grandma and Grandpa hadn't been there since they changed their name from Downtown Disney.  It was a lot more walking then they were used to, but we just took it slow and stopped at several stores along the way.  We had lunch at Splitsville and introduced them to Gideon's Bakehouse.  We also enjoyed drinks at the Coke Store.  Grandpa got to try a fountain Tab, something that he hadn't had in years.

We left Orlando around 4 p.m.  Grandpa and Cameron decided that they wanted to play nine holes at Baseline Golf Club.  It was an executive course that Grandpa's friend had played recently played and had highly recommended.  It was in really good shape and they both really enjoyed playing there.  Their favorite hole was the "lucky number seven" and they made plans to play eighteen holes later in the week.
