Soccer Sleepover

I spent today cleaning and getting ready for the soccer party at our house this evening.  Overall, it was in pretty good shape and this time I agreed with Meg that I really was Danny Tanner - cleaning an already clean home.  Meg and I then bought food for tonight and groceries for the weekend.  Cal was supposed to work, but they cancelled his day as it was supposed to rain.  He hung out with Grandpa's watching the British Open.

We debated all day on whether Meg’s scrimmage with Wawasee would be cancelled or not because of the weather, but in the end they played.  Mom, Dad, Doug and I sat in a downpour and watched Bethany win.  Meg played very well and had several opportunities to score. She was pleased that her penalty kick landed in the right corner as planned.

The girls were soaked when they arrived.  Thankfully we had plenty of towels and a lot of room on the porch to dry out their shoes and socks.  We ordered pizza for everyone which they all appreciated.  The girls spent the rest of the evening, singing karaoke, playing Just Dance, prank calling their friends and watching movies.  We thoroughly enjoyed having them all here.  Meg was an awesome host.  It's hard to believe after watching her with her teammates that she only joined Bethany a year ago.
