Overall, I was incredibly impressed with how well the process went today. The only hiccup was that their GPS sent them a street over from us. Once they arrived, however, everything went smoothly. They had the old countertops out before lunch time and were working on the new ones before their break. It took them about six hours total and in the end, we were absolutely thrilled with final results. We have to let the glue set for twenty-four hours before we put anything on them or have a plumber hook up the sink but today was a major step closer toward being down with all of the projects that we had on our to do list this past year.

So Close
Yesterday, Stone World called to let me know that they would be able to put in our new countertops today if we were available. I was completely surprised as they originally told me that it would be the last full week in March before they had time. I quickly said yes, even though I knew that it would change my Bible study plans. I wasn't too worried as I was sure that God would understand as I was extremely excited about finishing my small kitchen remodel. Plus, it wouldn't interfere with any of Cameron's plans next week. I was a little bit stressed about how I would get everything moved out of the kitchen along with taking out the drawers in time for them to come this morning, but thankfully Doug was able to work from home today, so we had plenty of time last night to get everything ready. Doug staying home also meant that I could go to Bible study as he would be here to get them started.
