After spending most of last week in the house getting over a virus and finishing my Christmas to-do list, it was very nice to get out the past two days. Yesterday, I went to see the movie Wicked for Good. It was the second movie in a two-part series with the first movie coming out last year at this time. I liked this movie a lot, but nowhere near as much as the first one. It was that way when I saw the musical as well. The first act was great; the second act was slow in the middle but had a phenomenal ending. Even so, I was very glad to see it and enjoyed spending the afternoon outside of the house.
Tonight, I went shopping at Target for Christmas stockings and then went to the CCW Christmas party. I was a little nervous about the party as the president said something very negative about me in front of the group at the last meeting I attended. Thankfully, that did not happen tonight, and I had a fantastic time. There were fajitas for dinner, a character dramatization of Mary, and a gift exchange. I sat with my friends, chatted with many members of the group and overall, had a wonderful night.
