The Heinisch Family Frat House

Last night Doug and I took Meg and Cam to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Cal decided to go to Hacienda with Alex and Jayce.  When they got back they all left to play basketball.  Close to 10:00 p.m. he and Cameron Adams came back to our house to shower and hang out before Cameron left to go spearfishing with his girlfriend's family.  They visited with Doug and I for awhile, talking about sports, their trip to Cedar Point and Alabama football.  By the time Doug and I went to bed Cameron was getting ready to leave.  The boys had a 7 a.m. tee time and plans to meet up in the morning.

When Doug left for 8 a.m. mass Cameron's car was here, but the truck was gone.  The boys were back around 10:30 for pancakes before they met up with the others for basketball.  We asked Cameron how the spearfishing went and he showed us all pictures of the largest fish one they caught.  As he was talking we asked him what time they were done and where they were fishing.  That's when Cameron said, "Well, actually we got done around 3:30 a.m. and I just came back here to sleep.  No one was on the couch in the basement, so I just slept there."  He was too tired to go all of the way home and back, so he crashed here.  None of us heard him come in.

Doug and I laughed about that all day.  I realized awhile ago that we were running The Heinisch Family Frat House and last night just confirmed it.  Glad that Cal's friends feel comfortable enough to stay here.  They sure are a fun group of boys.
