One Busy Day

Today was a busy day in the Heinisch household.  Meg started bright and early heading to Bishop Dwenger for a confirmation retreat with her religious ed classmates.  Cam and Doug left for Bethany Christian for a chess tournament.  Cal's friends all spent the night after staying up late playing cards.  They were gone by ten and Cal left with Alex at 11 a.m for a buffet lunch and a day of watching football at Cameron's.  Brett helped at a pregnancy crisis center, went shopping, had lunch with a friend and got a haircut all before seeing the movie The Purge.

Meg texted several times during the day and said that she enjoyed the event.  Once she got home she had just enough time to eat dinner and rest before going to a haunted house/butter beer party at Gabby's.  Cam came home a first place winner in his day long chess tournament.  Doug decided to start on the leaves.  I had spent the day cleaning and picking up the Halloween.  We just finished as the Schwartz's came by to pick us up for dinner. We had an nice visit.  It was a busy day, but very enjoyable.
