Meg decided that she would go see The Greatest Showman after practice tonight. One of her friends had not been to see it yet and she definitely was up for another viewing. Afterward they went to Hacienda for dinner. Thus, she didn't get home until after nine.
Since Meg had plans tonight, that left Doug, Cam and I with a decision to make. Should we go out or should we stay in? After a lot of debate and suggestions we thought the best plan was to have game night at the Heinisch home complete with nachos and guacamole. While Doug was getting the food ready, Cam played Fortnight on the PS4. He and his friends were able to connect through the game and play as a team. He had a lot of fun and we enjoyed listening to him banter back and forth with the other players. After dinner we finally finished our game of Phase 10. Cam destroyed us only losing one hand. Our next game of the night was Mario Kart. We hadn't played in quite some time and I finally broke the top ten.
Meg came home shortly after we finished our second round. She enjoyed the movie as much as she did the first time. Cam and I would like to see it again as well. As much fun as we had playing games we decided to call it an early night. I was wiped out from a long week as was Meg. Cam and Doug had to be up early for a chess tournament tomorrow. Happy that we decided to stay at home tonight. It was the perfect start to the weekend.
