Last night Meg and I drove to Columbia City to watch the high school girls soccer scrimmage. The weather was not the best for it as it was in the low 60s and rain, but the scrimmage went better than last year. We could tell from it that the girls have really improved this year. They ended up losing two to one. We saw a lot of items that they still need to improve on, but there were some positives too. I am hopeful that his year is better than last. He loves coaching, but it is difficult to lose every game, especially when they only scored one goal on the Varsity level all season.
Meg starts soccer practice for the middle school team tomorrow. She is really excited about that. Her team also went scoreless and winless for the year. She is positive that they will do a lot better this fall. Can't wait to see them improve as well.
