Today Doug, Meg and Cam officially started Thanksgiving Break. I was glad as Monday and Tuesday had been busy with appointments, school and basketball. Today was a lot more laid back. Meg used her time off to catch up with friends. Last night the girls basketball team went to Westview to watch Bethany's boys' first game of the season. It was a tough one to go to as they lost 81-7, but Meg said that she had fun. Afterward she went to Jackie's to spend the night. Today she made it back in time for a haircut and a quick lunch before heading back to Goshen to hang out with Jackie, Sarah and Preston. They ended up watching Ralph Breaks the Internet and eating at Hacienda.
Cal woke Cameron up when he got back from Nick LeCount's so that he could help rake leaves. I wanted him to finish making a blanket for BINGO at the nursing home instead. Cam was more interest in that and was able to get it done before he left to work BINGO this afternoon. Mom said that all of the residents were happy to see him and that he was a big help. I was glad to hear that and was also able to add two hours to his service hours for confirmation.
Doug wanted to go see The Widows this afternoon and Brett and I were happy to go with him. The movie was fantastic with several plot turns. All three of us really enjoyed it. Cal had talked about going with us, but decided to watch the rest of Game of Thrones instead. After the movie we stopped at Martin's to buy more pop and Target to pick up the TVs I ordered. We have needed a new one in the basement bedroom. Brett and I were able to set it up and he got a lot of use out of it this evening with his XBOX 360. Doug decided to make appetizers for dinner including buffalo chicken dip, meatballs, and nachos. My parents joined us and we spent the rest of the evening playing games. It was a great day for all.
