Tonight the six of us went to dinner at Mad Anthony's. It is very rare that all six of us together, so it was a special night for the Heinisch family. We were not celebrating any specific occasion. Brett just wanted everyone to go out once while he was home. It was hard to coordinate as everyone has been busy at night. Cal works both Saturday and Sunday night and there is a home football scrimmage Friday night that Meg and Cal are planning on attending. Brett has been helping the campaign trail every opportunity he gets and meeting with as many friends as he can before he returns to IU.
Therefore tonight was the night. Cal gave up a home volleyball scrimmage to go and Meg postponed homework. The dinner was good even thought the service was slow. We had a lot of time to talk, play tic-tac-toe and find out what everyone has planned this year. Although we enjoyed the night out, my favorite part was when we were driving home. Meg, Cal, Doug and Brett had all picked a song to listen to when Cam said, Play "Just a Friend." What great memories it produced and was the perfect end to a fun night.
