Tomorrow night Brett gets to see Straight No Chaser at the IU auditorium. They are an a cappella group of IU men singers that became a sensation in the late 1990s. They tour the US and most of their concerts are sold out. We became a fan of theirs many years ago when we saw their live version of "12 Days of Christmas." It starts off as a normal holiday song and turns into a comedic medley of Christmas tunes. The first time we saw it we couldn't stop laughing.
I have showed the video to all of my classes several times over the past few years. We try to name all of the songs in their medley. So far we have been able to recognize eight. Knowing that Brett is going to the show tomorrow night makes me a little bit jealous. I would love to go with him and see in person what we have watched online for years. Excited that he gets to be a part of it. Can't wait to hear all about the show.
