According to Cameron today is Christmas Eve Eve and we took full advantage of it. Brett, Meg, Cam and I finished our Christmas shopping after we picked her up from the Fitzgeralds and had lunch at Steak N Shake. We were successful in purchasing the rest of our gifts and all of the food that we will need for the next few days. Although it wasn't on our Christmas to do list we even took advantage of the 50 degree weather to get the van washed.
Tonight Doug made Christmas cookies with the Heinisch children. Afterward I helped Cameron sew a Grinch t-shirt pillow. He used it the rest of the night. Meg and I also worked on her gift to Grandma. It looked very nice. We spent the rest of the evening watching Fred Claus and playing Christmas Kahoot. Brett was pretty frustrated with us as we kept beating him at Kahoot. He turned it around, however, and won the final round.
Cal spent the day getting ready for Christmas in his own way. He ate lunch at Mom's, played basketball at the community center all afternoon and went with a group of his friends to Columbia City for the high school game. His Christmas Eve Eve was a little different in ours, but he enjoyed it just as much as we did.
