Tonight was Meg's last match of the regular season. The girls played at Jimtown and it was a hot one. Doug and I were able to both be at her match. Meg started off strong winning the first two games, but her opponent got some great advice from her coach and everything start to turn. Meg rallied, won some key points and served well. Unfortunately, she couldn't close her out and ended up losing both sets 6-2, 6-2.
Meg was frustrated and disappointed. She felt that the Jimtown player was the best that she had played this year. Her coaches believed that the girl was beatable. Either way Doug and I were extremely proud of her. She played well this year, finished with a fantastic record, helped her teammates to some key wins and had fun along the way. We couldn't ask for a better debut to her high school tennis career at Bethany.
