Evan spent the night last night and was late to wake up. Cam was up bright and early, however, as he knew he was going to have another visitor. Hannah-Marie brought her new dog, Winston, over for Cal to dog sit while she was at volleyball. He was a cutie and at eight weeks old he slept a lot. I helped Cal as well with the dog sitting, but in all honesty, it was pretty easy. Winston did make it outside for awhile. He liked the sticks in our yard and roamed around for awhile. Mom and Dad came up to see him. Cal was sure they would want one of his siblings. He even offered to pay for part of it. Not sure he talked them into it, but we'll see. I would definitely take a dog, but working would make it hard.
Once Winston and Evan went home Cam and I watched The Chase. He then had soccer tonight. This time they practiced with the boys team. Cam liked it. He felt that he had gotten faster than last fall and his stamina had increased. I walked while he was there and caught up with Brett. Freedom works would like to keep him as an intern. They want to hire him full-time, but don't have money in the budget to do so. They said that he was the best policy intern that they have ever had. It was a great compliment, but intern pay just doesn't cut it in D.C. Thus, Brett has decided to come back to Bloomington and work on his masters. If something changes at Freedom Works, he would definitely be interested in moving back. He has had a great year and half of working, meeting people and gaining experience.
