The Rain, Rain, Rain Came Down, Down, Down

The rain that had been predicted for today came in before noon.  However, it didn't hamper any of our plans.  We were able to finish everything that Brett wanted to do at EPCOT before returning for lunch on the Boardwalk.

Back in the room, Brett packed for his trip home.  The Magical Express was late picking him up, but I didn't mind.  I enjoyed visiting with him.  His flight home landed early and he was able to catch the early shuttle back to Bloomington.  I was so glad that he was able to join us in Florida, and that he wanted too!

Doug and Cal enjoyed a soggy round of golf.  The rest of us braved the weather as well and caught the bus to Downtown Disney.  The guys caught up with us at Disney Quest.  After a couple of hours of video games we headed back to the Boardwalk for dinner.

Cal picked the ESPN Club and we all enjoyed the atmosphere and food.  After dinner Cal headed back to the room and we walked over to EPCOT for their firework show - Illuminations.  It was wonderful and we all loved it.

We ended the evening with desserts in the Innkeepers Club and watched the street performers from the balcony of our room.  Cam and Meg really enjoyed the performances.  It was a wonderful way to end a wonderful day!
