Much to everyone's disappointment there was not a two hour delay this morning. Last night the weatherman talked of freezing rain, but the temperature stayed in the 40's. That made for a dreary day, but it started off well. Brett and I enjoyed a quiet breakfast at Maria's before he left. We talked about Star Wars, movies and politics. It was very nice to spend time with just him. He stopped in Shelbyville to see the people he worked with this summer before returning to Bloomington. He was happy to be back and already had dinner plans.
Today was the end of J-Term for Cameron and he really enjoyed it. They divided the day into three sessions. In one they learned about technology and the future, the second was healthy eating and the third was about diversity and overcoming adversity. It was a great way to start after break. When he is in 7th through 11th grade they will take two classes during that time period and everyone seems to really enjoy it. Seniors spend time the two weeks job shadowing. Just one more perk of being a student at Bethany and we are very happy he is there.
