Today we celebrated St. Patrick's Day at the Knights of Columbus hall a day early. It is an annual tradition on the Sunday before St. Patrick's Day. We enjoyed the celebration even though only three of us ate the traditional corned beef and cabbage meal. Brett was able to enjoy catching up with many of the families at our church that haven't seen him in awhile. Cameron and Cal played several rounds of pool with Brett, Luke and Kyle. We also visited with a few families before heading home.
Brett went to a political rally in the afternoon for Curt Nisley. He is running against a local Syracuse woman for a seat in the Indiana house. I took Cam and Meg to piano and Cal and Doug went driving. The Heinisch children then spent the evening at Mom's. It is their 51st anniversary today. Not sure if Mom and Dad got any of the orange slices and circus peanuts that they brought down, but I know that my parents will use the Applebee's gift card they gave them.
