Cameron could not wait for Friday night. He had invited his friend Braxton over for an evening of fun. Every day he reminded me of how many days were left until Friday. They met me by my door at the end of the day eager for some fun. We had threatened to leave Braxton in Milford if he wore Purdue attire, but decided he could still come along even though he had his Boilermaker jersey on. Meg talked everyone into stopping at Scoops, so they ate ice cream and listened to the music on the way home.
Braxton and Cam played cowboys and indians, the XBOX and soccer outside. Meg had Lauren over as well and they joined in the activities outside. Doug ordered Pizza Hut, and I believe that everyone had a great evening. Cal did decide that there were too many young people in our home, so he headed over to Mom's for awhile. By ten o'clock everyone returned to their rightful home, happy with a successful evening.
