Park Hoppers

Today we took full advantage of our park hopper passes.  We were at the Tree of Life when Animal Kingdom opened ready to conquer Dinoland.  Brett and Doug reluctantly joined us for the Dinosaur ride, but enjoyed it in the end.  The Heinisch children took on Primeval Whirl or as Doug calls it - Primeval Hurl.  Needless to say, Doug and I chose to sat that one out.

Our fast passes covered three of our favorites:  Expedition Everest, The Jungle Safari, and Kahli River Rapids.  We even had time to catch "It's a Bug Life" before lunch.  We had reservations at Rain Forest Cafe, and Brett and Cal found Hawaiian shirts they needed while we were waiting.  Lunch was delicious and the conversation lively.  We all agreed that for us, Animal Kingdom is a half day park.  Since we have park hopper passes we decided leaving to rest up for Magic Kingdom at night was the smartest choice.

We did stop at Fantasia mini golf.  Cal redeemed himself from his loss on Friday, by easily defeating all of us.  We had a chance to enjoy the wine and cheese night in the Innkeepers Club before heading out.

Magic Kingdom was packed.  However, we managed to hit all three mountains again plus the rides Brett still wanted to do.  It was after midnight when we crawled into bed, happy and tired from a full day of park hopping!
