Pow Wow

Tonight was the second annual Wawasee High School Pow Wow.  It is an awesome event put on by the leadership committee at the high school that includes a multitude of games, prizes and food.  The participants are all high school students and the activities leading up to the event have been almost as fun as the night.  Cal and his friends had a great time dressing as "twins" on twin day (although theirs turned into septuplet day).  Pictures were taken on that day as well as the following two theme days - Hawaiian and Extreme Green and Gold.

Cal participated in a three on three basketball contest, dodge ball and co-ed volleyball in which they brought home the championship trophy.  Over 400 students participated in the events of the night.  Not only did they all have a wonderful time, they also raised money for one of their own classmates that is battling cystic fibrosis.

The rest of us stayed home and watched the movie Frozen with the Batistas.  We enjoyed the movie (Brett for the fourth time) and the company.  Alexandria and Jody had never seen it and liked it as much as we did the first time we saw it.  Overall, a great night for the Heinisch family.  Can't believe how fast this week went by.  We have all enjoyed having Brett home.
