Tonight was supposed to be Meg's first high school tennis scrimmage and unfortunately the rain had other plans. It poured most of the day, but the sun came out for an hour or two. I was hopeful that they'd be able to play, but it wasn't meant to be. Meg had practice inside today which was disappointing after the anticipation of a match. Cam also had his tennis practice altered. They had to give the gym to the high school girls, so they watched one of Federer's matches and worked on footwork. It wasn't his favorite activity, but he still put it in his top three positives of the day.
Cal also had indoor practice. It was their rules meeting. Afterward they all went to Chubbie's for dinner. It was $2 hamburger night and they ended up with a total of 26 sandwiches at their table. After dinner he and Doug went to Warsaw to rent a tux for Prom. He posted on Twitter that it was Red, White and Blue, but fortunately it was more traditional than that and will match Hannah-Marie's dress well. Alex and Jayce were over this evening once Cal got back. Cam played them in ping pong and watched basketball as well. It was a quiet night for the rest of us. It had been an exhausting day at school and I was more than ready for a relaxing evening.
