Friends giving, Trivia Night and More

Doug had to work this morning, but was able to meet Brett, Cam, my parents and I at Linway Cinema to watch Murder on the Orient Express.  It was a remake of one our favorite Agatha Christie stories and we thoroughly enjoyed it.  Although it was mostly the same, the accents were easier to understand and the main character was fantastic.  We were all glad that we got the chance to see it on the big screen.

After the movie Doug and Cam headed home.  Cam had invited Samuel over for the afternoon and he arrived just after they got back.  The boys had a lot of fun playing basketball and board games.  Meg also had friends over this evening for her own version of "Friendsgiving."  She had a good turnout of both Wawasee and Bethany friends at her gathering.

While Friendsgiving was happening in our basement, Doug, Brett, Cal, HM, my parents and I met for dinner at Chubbie's.  Tonight was their weekly trivia night and we felt like we had a good chance of placing in the top three.  While we were eating and participating in trivia, Samuel and Cam were bowling and eating pizza.  In the end everyone had fun and we were the proud recipients of a $7.50 gift certificate for a second place finish.
