Doug had planned on starting the medication to help his tremor this past weekend. After reading the side effects, he was worried about the main one, sedation. The Propranolol had made him extremely tired, and he didn't want another medication that did the same, especially with his long commute. Therefore, he decided to try the medication that would help with the extreme anxiety attacks. I supported his decision 100%.
After Saturday and yesterday, I wasn't sure if we made the right decision. Doug was extremely sick to his stomach, very tired mid-day and felt a lot hotter in the sun than normal. Meg had told him that he could stay with them whenever he needed because of the side effects of the new medication. Doug took her up on that offer and headed to Orlando after dinner last night so that he didn't have to drive very far to work this morning.
To show my appreciation to Meg, I offered to take her to lunch at Magic Kingdom. We not only visited Casey's corner for her favorite corn dogs but got to ride Haunted Mansion as well. It was a lot of fun, and we made it back to her apartment in time to meet Doug for dinner. I was glad to see that he was feeling better and thankful for a quiet night at Meg's.
