Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day, but we were so busy celebrating Meg's early birthday that we didn't have time to do much for it. We made up for it today as we all attended the Knights of Columbus St. Patrick's Day party. There was corned beef and cabbage for lunch and green party favors for all. We all had fun catching up with other families, and Meg was able to sell a few fish fry tickets as well.
Once we got home the boys finished packing the Civic for their return trip to Bloomington. We were sad to see them go. It had been a quick visit with Brett. We will have to catch up more with him over Easter weekend when we go back down. It was great having Cal here for an entire week. It's rare that we get to spend that much time with him and we all enjoyed it. He made March Madness more fun especially with all of the trash talking. Easter is only two weeks away. I am already looking forward to having everyone all together again.
