To Build a Church
As soon as Meg finished being a lector at church she spent the rest of the day studying for finals. They technically don't start until Wednesday, but all of her church history was due tomorrow. That included a paper, a speech, poster and a hand built church. We decided the best approach was to encourage her as much as possible and be available if she needed any help. Fortunately, Brett was able to give a lot of advice on building a church out of Legos. She even had moving doors and pews complete with an altar. I ran out and got her a poster board and a rubber cement. By 10:15 at night she had all parts of her final project done and even had time to study Calculus. It was a lot in one day, but a great way to learn how it will be when she attends college.
