Cameron had a 2:30 dismissal this afternoon to allow teacher’s time to get ready for their conferences. He does tomorrow as well. Mom picked him up for me and was back in time to get Meg from the rainout at tennis.
We scheduled Cam’s conferences for this evening and were able to meet with all five of his teachers. They had all positives to say about his progress so far this year. Doug stressed to Cam afterward how proud of him we are. I focused on the strengths that his homeroom teacher pointed out - kind, caring and empathetic. As I told him later intelligence is a gift, but being a kind and caring person is a choice. We are proud that he has followed that route. Going to Bethany has definitely encouraged what we already teach at home. We couldn’t be happier.
