Cameron had asked us if he could have a sleepover with his Milford friends this summer. We told him that once graduation was over we would plan a day. Tonight was the night we chose and we were glad that all of his friends could be here. Evan was the first to arrive and then Cade and Ryden. Chance couldn't come until after five, but they kept themselves busy until then. Nerf gun wars were first on the agenda with badminton next.
While Doug and Meg were at soccer I took them all bowling. They had a great time. Chance and Cade wanted a lane with bumpers and the rest asked for one without. It wasn't busy, so they had no problem accommodating their request. It was actually trivia night for the restaurant. The Goralczyk's were seated right next to our lanes. I hung out with them while they answered questions. It was a lot of fun.
After bowling the boys had a bonfire and made s'mores. Doug grilled hot dogs for dinner. Before they headed downstairs for the night they all went out to play ghost in the graveyard. Meg even joined them for that. It just started to lightening as they were finishing up. Evan couldn't spend the night as he had robotics camp in the morning, but everyone else stayed. Every time we have Cade over I am reminded of just how close he and Cam really were in first through third grade. Cade has such a fun personality and a lot of energy. We all enjoy that about him. I am pleased that Cam still has a great group of friends at Milford and now a new set at Bethany Christian.
