Unpack to Repack

We left this morning for home thankful that the van was fixed.  Doug was even able to get Cal’s car to the shop and they had the tire fixed before we left as well.  The van ride home was uneventful.  We didn’t have to stop for anything so we made it to our house by 1:30.  Mike was there waiting for HM.  She and Cal enjoyed the weekend and spent a lot of time with us.  We were glad that she was able to go.

We spent the rest of the day getting unpacked and starting the packing for Florida.  Doug wanted to mow, but it rained all afternoon.  That was a surprise to us as it had been hot and sunny when we left Bloomington.

Meg spent her day studying and then went to youth group.  It was the first one that our church has offered in awhile and she said it was a lot of fun.  There were only seven middle/high schoolers, but they are hoping to grow as the weeks go on.

Cam and my Dad played golf even though it drizzled most of the time.  He decided to spend the night at Mom and Dad’s as his fall break started on Friday.  It would be awesome to have a week off like he does.

Doug and I went to dinner in town.  We are excited about our upcoming trip, but realize that there is still a lot to do to get ready.  His work will pick up when he gets back, so it will be the perfect time to go.
