Two nights ago we hosted our last golf sectional dinner for Cal. Doug made lasagna, Caesar salad and breadsticks. The Moores brought the cake. It was an awesome evening and we all enjoyed watching the listening to the boys have fun. As soon as they ate the went out back to play badminton and then soccer. We invited the parents and the coaches and most were able to join us. The adults spent a lot of time talking and Sharon and I talked about Jayce and Cal at IU next year.
Normally we have sectional dinner the night before the tournament, but Cal wanted it to be relaxing and he felt that several days beforehand would be best. I agree with him and am glad that he suggested it. If this was to be our last night as host of such an event it was a good one and I am glad that we were all able to be part of it.
