Tonight was the first soccer open field of the summer season. Doug had a fantastic turn out with a lot of new faces. Meg talked Kaitlin and Gabby into playing this year and is thrilled that they decided to join. Not all of Doug's varsity could be there as softball is still in session, but most were. Meg played well and felt good about scoring already.
Cam and I decided to get his bike out so that we can walk and ride while they are gone. The tires were flat and the chain fell off, but we were able to take care of that. I am glad that Doug coaches soccer as he is very good at it. Meg likes having him there and has learned quite a bit. In saying that it is hard to have him gone so much. I plan to spend a lot of the time with Cameron. That will make the time go by faster and Cameron is always a lot of fun.
