I talked to Brett and Karen several times over the past few days trying to sort through all of the information. While I was waiting for them to get everything confirmed with the church wedding coordinator, I started working on other projects that needed done beforehand. One that took up some time was the seating chart. Thankfully, Meg figured out a great way to display the lists on each of the tables and planned to make all of the charts. I was able to easily figure out seating for Brett's guests as I knew almost all of them. Karen and I then talked on the phone one afternoon and were finally able to come up with a plan for her friends and family as well. Once we finished that, I proceeded to print off all of the charts for Meg so she could add the decorations. I also spent some time packing all of the wedding decorations that Meg and I had bought earlier in the month, thankful that I could get everything in a suitcase along with my clothes for the week, mother of the groom dress, and shoes for the wedding.
Karen finally heard back from the wedding coordinator so that I would be able to finish the programs before I left. As soon as I got all of the information arranged and everyone proofread it for me, I could finish the printing. I was afraid that I would run out of ink but thankfully did not. It took about eight hours to complete the project, but they did look very nice and would save Brett and Karen well over $200. They also fit into my backpack nicely so I didn't have to worry about how I would get them to Indiana. The last project was printing off pictures to use at the wedding rehearsal dinner as decorations. Brett and Karen had some nice ones that would all look great on the tables. It has been a ton of work these past few days, but a lot of progress has been made and soon we will all be celebrating Brett and Karen's wedding day.
