Today was a celebration for Cam and Meg. They had both had a successful day. Cam qualified for the individual state championship for the third year in a row. There weren't as many players in his division as in the past, so he was done earlier than normal. That gave him plenty of time to relax this afternoon. We found out later that Kayden and Evan qualified in their division as well which meant that he would have others to hang out with on January 27th. The first year that he went to state he was the only one that qualified.
Meg had a great day as well. Her basketball team played Trinity Christian. It was a varsity only game and Meg played a little less than a quarter. She made the most of it scoring four points and had a three pointer that went in and out of the basket. As we were already in South Bend, we thought that the best course of action would be to enjoy a nice family dinner at Papa Vino's. We hadn't been there in quite some time. It was just as delicious as we remembered and the conversation around the tale was lively as always.
