Meg's basketball team did not have practice tonight as the band, choir and orchestra had a rehearsal for their Friday night Christmas performance. As Meg was not involved in music this year, she had a free night to work on homework which she appreciated. Although, dismissal was at 2:30 she didn't leave Bethany until 3 p.m. She had math corrections to work on with Rene.
I was glad that she left Goshen early. We had let her drive to school this morning since the roads were clear. The projected snowfall for today wasn't supposed to arrive before 4, so we decided to have her try it. Thankfully, Meg was home well before any flakes fell. By the time I drove to Goshen at 4:15 to pick up Cameron, however, snow had already covered the roads. We made it home without incident. It just took a little longer than normal. Unfortunately, for those of us wanting a snow delay tomorrow the snow quit way too early.
