Christmas Shopping

Meg had a basketball game at Lakewood Park Christian school this afternoon.  It was Varsity only, which made for a short afternoon on the court.  We had decided since the school was so close to Fort Wayne that we would go Christmas shopping after the ballgame.  The weather was gorgeous once again which made shopping easy and enjoyable.  We stopped at several stores before we made it to Jefferson Point Mall.  We all loved walking around this outdoor mall as it was decorated for Christmas and the crowds were light.  We each found items that we needed for friends and family and I felt like we made a dent into our shopping list.  There were some fantastic sales as well which always makes shopping more fun.  We stopped at DeBrands on the way out of the mall to pick out some after dinner truffles.

We decided to eat at Biagi's as it is next to the mall and Cam and Meg really enjoy their Italian food.  We made it to the restaurant just ahead of the crowds and were seating immediately.  We each tried a different pasta dish and all were delicious.  The truffles made for the perfect dessert on the way home and we were all happy with our day of Christmas shopping.
