Cam asked my Dad if he could take him golfing after practice tonight. Cam was invited to play in a golf tournament on Sunday and wanted to at least chip and putt before then. My Dad agreed to meet him there and they were able to get in several practice holes before it got dark. He said he didn't play his best, but had a lot of fun and felt good about Sunday. After golf he and my Dad went to eat at Chubbie's and he enjoyed that as well.
Meg decided that since Cam was doing something with Grandpa that she would see if Grandma was available to go to dinner. They thought about going to Hacienda, but decided on Steak N Shake. Meg had a lot of fun visiting with her Grandma. She also said that she ate a ton. They stopped by Walmart afterward to buy some school supplies. Meg had as much fun as Cameron did. I was happy that they were able to hang out with their grandparents. School and soccer have kept them busy, so they haven't been able to do that as much.
