Cameron's soccer team was back in action tonight. That makes seven games in just seventy-two hours. Once again Bethany proved to be the better team defeating Wawasee Middle School 7-1. Cam did well at full back once again and it was fun to see them all play well. It was strange, however, sitting on the sidelines listening to the Wawasee parents talk about what they could have done better to beat Bethany. I realized that there wasn't much they could do. Bethany had more experience, was advanced in skill and overall had a better coach. Being a parent of child on a dominant team has been a new feeling for Doug and I as we were used to picking up the pieces after being on the wrong side of a lopsided win. Instead my goal tonight was to just sit quietly, enjoy Cam having a good time with his friends and figure out where to order the after game pizza from.
