Brett had a great last day at home. He went to a long lunch with a friend and afterward picked up his car from the bumper repair. He went with Cam and I to Cal's tennis match and then five of us headed to dinner. We were able to fit everything in his car once we returned and now that the bumper is fixed he is ready for the trip back.
It has been great having him home for the past few weeks. He was able to do everything on his list - Amish Acres, movies, writing, campaigning, check-ups and visiting with friends. He is ready to head back tomorrow, but Cam captured how the rest of us feel, "I am excited for Friday as it is the weekend, but I am sad as well because Brett is leaving. All of us are planning on heading to Bloomington for Labor Day. Already looking forward to it!
