Cam had his open house at Bethany Christian complete with Little Caesar pizza last night. He was able to show my parents his room complete with birds and dwarf hamster. Cam absolutely enjoys the new challenge Bethany has posed to him academically. He is still getting to know the students however. He has a positive attitude about the change and realizes that he has only been there eight days. It takes more than that to make true friendships. He does talk non-stop about his four square games at recess. There is always something funny happening there. He also is very excited about playing the oboe.
I know that meeting new people is a challenge, but I truly believe this is the best environment for him. He will grow and learn each day and thrive in the new setting. He has already mentioned some new classmates he has been talking too and enjoys sitting with Jacob at lunch. Proud of him for taking on this new endeavor.
