Dutch Touch

Tonight was a cold, rainy one, but according to Cameron it was the best soccer practice of the year.  They played a new game - "Dutch Touch" and he really enjoyed it.  He was tired when I took him to Mom's, but happy.  Doug played the same game with the middle schoolers and by the end of the evening he was tired as well.  Meg was disappointed that more players did not show up for practice, but she had a good time beating Doug and his Dutch Touch team.

Cal had a match at Maplecrest tonight.  It was very cold, windy and wet.  Mom and Dad went to watch, but left as soon as he was done.  The boys lost which was surprising as Goshen isn't very strong.  Cal was second on the team with a 44, but most of the boys on all three teams were in the 40s tonight.  The weather is supposed to start warming up by the end of the week.

After soccer and golf Doug and I went to dinner at Huntington St.  He had a few interesting stories from work.  It has definitely been busy for him the last few weeks there.  It was nice to catch up with him.
