Open Gym

Today started the official season for 8th grade girls basketball as we had open gym in the morning.  I thought we had a pretty decent turnout for the first day and this year we had 6th and 7th graders also.  Meg felt a little rusty, but she did a nice job.  One of the players Dad's is coaching 7th grade.  He was the boys' favorite Spanish teacher and I really liked having an extra person there.  I don't know how good we will be and I hate that we play Wawasee Middle School the first week, but other than that we should have a lot of fun and improve along the way.  Those are always the goals for me.
