DeKalb Visit

We were all up early this afternoon to head to DeKalb.  Jeanette hasn't been feeling as well and has a lot of trouble eating, so we wanted to make one more trip out before school starts.  We were there by 9 a.m. DeKalb time and had a great visit with her.  Phil was home from Atlanta also, so we were able to catch up with him as well.  I am so happy that all of the Heinisch children were able to go.  Brett had the day off of work.

Carl is doing pretty well trying to keep up with the household duties and helping Jeanette.  Hospice is coming in daily and they have had a lot of visitors.  I know that none of this has been easy for Doug and his family.  Their faith is strong and I am impressed with their fortitude.  They have been a wonderful example for the Heinisch children.
